Role Description
The Installer role at Elite Concrete Coatings is a full-time, on-site position located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan and surrounding areas. We're hiring for both entry-level and experienced/lead installers — if you're new to the trade and eager to learn, or a seasoned installer looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you.
In this role, the Installer prepares concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, repairing, and patching as needed before applying coatings or completing other finishes. The Installer mixes and applies various coating systems according to product specifications, ensures proper curing, and maintains a clean and safe work area. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading materials, operating tools and equipment, following project plans and safety procedures, and communicating with team members and supervisors to complete jobs on schedule.
The Installer may also interact with customers on-site, answer basic questions about the installation process, and represent the company in a professional manner.
Pay: $18–$30/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in construction, concrete work, flooring installation, or related trades
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and surface preparation equipment (such as grinders and vacuums)
- Capacity to perform physical labor, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to job site safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area and flexibility to work hours as projects require
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to follow instructions, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in coatings, painting, or construction is preferred but not required
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professional work environment
- Valid Driver's License required
