Lead Irrigation Technician

• Start up and winterization of irrigation systems
• Seasonal management of irrigation controllers
• Trouble shooting and making necessary repairs
• Offering excellent customer service
• Providing written notes for internal records and customer communication
• Sug gesting irrigation improvements to promote a water efficient system

Must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation systems to include wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling pipe; installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.; operating equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers, subcontractors, architects, etc. Require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and, if necessary, working with a crew of one other employee.

The Irrigation Division must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.

• Starting pay of $23.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience
