We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and at least 3 years of experience operating excavators in a construction environment. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
Responsibilities- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Perform digging, trenching, grading, and material handling tasks
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Competitive hourly pay ($30/hour with opportunity to increase)
