Overview
Utah State University Extension's Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is seeking two qualified individuals to work part‑time (20 hours per week) in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber or Utah County. Training and teaching materials will be provided.
Responsibilities- Teaching nutrition and cooking skills to low‑income families and youth.
- Must adhere to the University Travel and Driving Policies. Mileage will be reimbursed.
- Need to be able to work flexible hours throughout the week.
- A basic knowledge of nutrition and food preparation.
- Job requires willingness to learn, work well with people, keep records and do reports.
- Internet access and some skill with computers and other electronic devices is necessary.
- Must be willing to obtain Food Handler's permit within one month of hire.
- Access to reliable transportation to meet with clients.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Incumbents may sit and use repetitive hand motion (such as typing). Outdoors, incumbents may not be protected from weather and may be exposed to extreme heat and cold.
Incumbents may be confined or in narrow spaces for periods of time, may be exposed to loud noises or vibrations from equipment, and may encounter fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, and poor ventilation. Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds and may have to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
