Position Summary: Under the direction of the Aggregate Superintendent and Aggregate Foreman, the Drivers are responsible for performing all driving duties in a safe manner, maintaining and cleaning assigned trucks, and performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Duties:

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Water truck driver: fill rollers, water grade accurately and follow watering schedules.
• Maintain and clean assigned truck and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections. Report mechanical problems to maintenance division.
• Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and department of transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). card.
• Maintain insurable driving record.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist other employees and work with others as a team on an aggregate production crew.
• As needed, operate Heavy equipment (Haul Truck, Loader, Dozer, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to work well with others in a team environment and follow instructions.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must hold a current Commercial Driver License and Medical Card.
• Able to move at least 50 pounds.

  Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. May occasionally lift items above their head.

  Needs to be able to communicate well with customers, dispatch, supervision, receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
• Working Conditions
  : 90% of time will be spent working outside in the elements. Must be able to work long and irregular hours (early and late) during the busy season.
