CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

Job Summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer and manually unload/deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Average pay: $75,000 per year including base pay, overtime, and incentives.

Schedule:

4–5 days per week, Monday–Saturday, with home nights. Early AM start time.

Paid time off: up to 2 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 float days per year.

• 21+ years of age.
• Must submit to a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40–60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• At least 1 year of customer delivery experience.
• At least 6 months of hand‑cart or hand‑truck experience.
• At least 6 months of food and beverage experience.
• Consistent work history of approximately 2 years.
