Clerical, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
The University Residences Clerk will provide operational and clerical support for assigned University Residence hall. Responsible for providing a variety of services including office functions, operations support, and customer service, while working at the main desk area in a student centered environment and prioritize responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service. This position will enter and update student records, and prepare reports as it relates to assigned residence halls.
The Clerk will assist during student check-in and check-out process. Responsible for hiring and training student employees.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Three years of experience in a clerical or office role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Strong work standards and productivity, decision making and dependability.
- Strong attention to detail and stress tolerance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, organizational and customer support.
- Ability to supervise, train, and direct student staff.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds utilizing the Student Life mission and teamwork in daily work activity.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
