Pay Rate:
Initial substitute daily pay rate (starting at $145 per day) for the first 15 consecutive days, followed by daily rate based upon the WLCSC Master Teacher Contract or Adjunct Contract at $55,000 yearly (pro-rated)

Duties And ResponsibilitiesPlans, coordinates, and team-teaches the instruction program according to the adopted curriculum for a junior-senior high school English classroom while the permanent teacher is on leave. Demonstrates effective classroom management and instructional skills to ensure a positive learning environment. Implements appropriate lesson plans and adapts teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Required:
Bachelor's Degree (minimum) Valid Indiana Secondary Teacher's License (preferred licensure in English) Displays excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Experience working in a school environment preferred

Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work as a team with other staff Displays dependability and punctuality
Working Conditions:
Position works indoors in a typical school classroom environment May work near others, often within a few feet May occasionally be exposed to noise levels that are distracting
