Pay Rate: Initial substitute daily pay rate (starting at $145 per day) for first 15 consecutive days, followed by daily rate based upon the WLCSC Master Teacher Contract (see attachment)

Benefits: Not eligible

Schedule: Approximately 09/08/26 through 11/24/26; follows school calendar

• Plans, coordinates, and team-teaches the instruction program according to the adopted curriculum for a junior-senior high school English classroom while the permanent teacher is on leave.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management and instructional skills to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Implements appropriate lesson plans and adapts teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
• Valid Indiana Secondary Teacher's License (preferred licensure in English)
• Displays excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Experience working in a school environment preferred

• Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work as a team with other staff
• Displays dependability and punctuality

• Position works indoors in a typical school classroom environment.
• May work near others, often within a few feet.
• May occasionally be exposed to noise levels that are distracting.
