The Instruction Specialist works in the Casting/Foundry labs associated with the School of Engineering Technology. Provides both instructional and operational support services for course delivery and assists students with projects. Uses mechanical engineering skills, providing direct support to faculty, staff, and students in the school’s formal instructional labs for casting and foundry undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
What We Are Looking ForEducation and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Minimum 2+ years of prior experience related to casting and foundry operations, or an equivalent combination of work and education.
Skills needed
- Strong initiative with an ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Programming skills related to CAD/CAM and process control.

The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $44,500 to $60,900 commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience. The final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including equity, available budget, educational background, and relevant experience.
