You are the Certified Peer Recovery Specialist that we are seeking for our Adult and Addiction Services program located in our location here, Indiana. As a CPRS you will work alongside patients providing peer support services, serving as a patient advocate and facilitating non-clinical skills/support groups with the support of a licensed clinician.

- Assist patients in identifying personal goals for recovery
- Works with clinicians in the development of treatment and discharge plans.
- Provides case management services as identified in the patient’s treatment plan; coordination of contractual care as needed
- Completes relevant assessments
- Assist patients in recognizing barriers to recovery
- Assist patients in recognizing their personal strengths they build their recovery capital.
- Facilitate non-clinical skills groups
- Assist patients in building social skills and the development of healthy relationships.
- Model different ways someone in recovery uses self-care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current sustained period of recovery for at least 2 years with substance use.
- Self-identified person in recovery from substance use
- Holds current Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) credential from the DMHA.
- Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required
