IT Asset Technician - West Lafayett

IT Asset Technician Quantum Site Support  The IT Asset Technician will be responsible for supporting onsite IT asset and stockroom management at the Quantum site. This role requires weekly onsite visits to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure availability of IT accessories and peripherals.
Visit the Quantum site once a week for approximately four (4) hours to provide onsite IT asset and stockroom support.
The visit may be scheduled on a fixed day (e.g., Monday or Tuesday); however, the schedule may change based on operational requirements. The engineer will be notified in advance of any schedule adjustments.
Manage and maintain stockroom inventory, including items such as keyboards, peripherals, cables, and other IT accessories.
Track inventory movement and maintain an updated inventory tracking sheet to ensure accurate records of stock availability and usage.
Monitor stock levels and proactively report when replenishment is required.
Ensure the stockroom is organized, secure, and compliant with asset management processes.
Coordinate with internal teams for inventory updates, reporting, and asset-related support when needed.
Basic understanding of IT hardware, accessories, and peripherals.
Experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or stockroom operations is preferred.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently during onsite visits and manage tasks efficiently within the allocated time.
Good communication and reporting skills.
