Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We’re currently hiring for a Housekeeper to join the team in West Lafayette, IN! As the Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our spaces remain clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You’ll be responsible for maintaining common areas, preparing units for new residents, and contributing to an exceptional living environment.

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas including office, clubhouse, kitchen, laundry rooms, elevators, and hallways.
• Prepare vacant units by thoroughly cleaning appliances, floors, fixtures, cabinets, windows, and more.
• Walk the property daily to inspect for cleanliness, safety, and maintain great curb appeal.
• Clean and tidy occupied units as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.
• Assist with trash pick-up and help maintain a clean and safe community.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any necessary orders to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Build positive relationships with residents by offering a friendly greeting and maintaining a professional, helpful presence.
• Report any unusual conditions or maintenance issues to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in organizing and cleaning corporate units, turnovers, and make‑ready units.
• Follow company procedures regarding safety and emergencies, attending training and meetings as required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in residential properties, rental operations or related business operations.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
• Attention to accuracy and quality; looks for ways to improve and innovate.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Proficient in working with technology and adaptable to online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.
