Senior Weekend Custodian

Work independently under limited supervision to provide custodial and specialized cleaning support across campus, covering vacancies and supplementing work crews.

• Respond to customer needs and requests, relying on personal judgment and prior experience.
• Respond to campus crises to enhance public safety and minimize infrastructure damage.
• Assist with emergency calls and snow/ice removal.
• Work in restricted access areas that require specialized procedures, training, or certification.
• Work outdoors 10% of the time in temperatures below 32° F or above 90° F.

• At least 18 months of custodial experience with a total of three years work experience.
• Completion of the Building Services Custodial Development Program, or enrollment within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to supervise and train small groups (3–10).
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken, written, and computer).
• Good organizational and basic mathematics skills.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and security policies.
• Familiarity with power and non‑powered floor‑care equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Valid U.S. or Canadian driver’s license.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Year of supervision experience.
• Knowledge of campus buildings and locations.

• Hourly Pay: $17.50
• Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
