Senior Project Manager

Atlas is looking for a Senior Project Manager with heavy civil utility experience including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, force main, de-watering, life stations, and site excavation. Successful candidate must be able to professionally and effectively communicate and coordinate with the owner, onsite staff, subs, vendors, and various back-office teams.

Position

Responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot and resolve problems within projects including coordinating with city/county/state engineers, craft union and subcontractors.

Maintain control of the project budget for each work activity.

Report monthly on the progress and current profitability for all assigned projects.

Authorize, approve, and manage all project change orders.

Oversee contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Approve project invoices and client billings.

Promote safety and security on all projects.

Function as a mentor to Project Managers and Field Engineers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree in Building Construction Management.

Minimum of 18-20 years of project management experience.

Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications.

Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Office, Pro Core, Blue Beam, and Heavy Job.
