About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of our casting and extrusion equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities- Oversee all casting and extrusion equipment maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates at optimal efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase equipment longevity.
- Manage facility operations, ensuring mechanical and electrical systems function properly.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability for repairs and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Lead, manage, and train a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring expenditures stay within allocated funds.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and managing service agreements.
- Conduct regular staff training sessions, ensuring team members are up‑to‑date with the latest maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in casting and extrusion maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
- Excellent inventory management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent budget management skills.
- Strong vendor management skills, with experience negotiating contracts and managing service agreements.
- Effective staff training skills.
