Role DescriptionThe Production Team Member is a full‑time, on‑site role based in West Lafayette, IN. This role involves operating production/laboratory equipment, assembling components, and supporting the manufacture of Krishi Inc.’s diagnostic products. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, monitoring product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and reporting any issues or deviations to supervisors. The Production Team Member will collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets and may assist with inventory handling, packaging, and basic equipment checks.
Qualifications- Ability to support Production Planning and Production Management activities to help meet output and delivery goals.
- Strong Communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
- Experience or aptitude in Quality Control, including following procedures and documenting results accurately.
- Comfort with Training activities, such as learning new processes and supporting onboarding of team members.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience working with manufacturing or laboratory equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in manufacturing, laboratory production, or related fields is a plus.
