What You'll be Doing
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance duties on building structures and systems for Operations and Maintenance. These activities include but are not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plastering, and locksmithing. Respond to and prioritize work orders. Troubleshoot to diagnose problems and determine repair or maintenance needs.

Troubleshoot to diagnose problems and determine repair or maintenance needs.
ScheduleEvenings, 3:30pm to 12:00am
Hourly Pay$21.82 plus a shift differential of $.70 for a total of $22.52, plus benefits

- High school diploma/GED
- 3+ years of general maintenance work experience
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, painting, plastering and locksmith fields
- Mechanical aptitude and leadership skills helpful
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and written and verbal instructions. Perform basic math functions
- Competencies for this position are work standards and productivity, communication, interpersonal and intercultural relations, decision making, and dependability; may include financial, coaching, delegation, and planning
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and coworkers, and customers
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and stand, walk or stoop extensively
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds
- A valid US or Canadian drivers’ license
- Familiarity with University policies regarding building maintenance and security preferred
