Systems Installation Assembler

SAAB is seeking a Systems Installation Assembler to build and install components for advanced defense and security systems in our manufacturing environment. In this role you will assemble electro-mechanical modules, install hardware and wiring, route and secure cables, and perform functional checks against engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. You will document work, support troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electro-mechanical system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Route, secure, and connect cables, harnesses, and hardware to precise specifications
• Perform visual and basic functional checks to verify proper installation and system performance
• Follow all quality, safety, and ESD procedures, completing required documentation and traceability records
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve build issues and support continuous improvement
• Maintain tools, workstations, and materials in a clean, organized, and compliant state per 5
• S and lean principles
