Position Summary:

The Design Team Administrative Assistant provides administrative, and logistical, support to the Design Team Lead. This position helps carry out established plans, and assists with the implementation of projects, events, and seasonal initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, flexible, and dependable individual who works well with a variety of personalities, enjoys working behind the scenes and follows projects through to completion.

Required Experience & Knowledge
  • Agree to ACC's doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
  • Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Design Team Lead
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and project follow-up
  • Maintain department files, records, and organizational systems as directed
  • Assist with project tracking and task management
  • Create PO's and maintain records of all orders placed
  • Receive deliveries and incoming shipments
  • Update maintenance staff on ETA's for deliveries
  • Process and enter inventory into tracking systems
  • Assist in carrying out design projects as directed by the Design Team Lead
  • Support setup and tear-down of seasonal and special events
  • Assist the team with volunteer events
  • Keep updated records of all design specifications
  • Fulfill tasks as assigned
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed
  • Engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, always being edifying to one another
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Quick learner, self-initiator, hardworking, and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Basic organization of product orders
  • Proficiency with standard office software and technology
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and teams
  • Task-focused; able to prioritize and complete duties using tracking software, lists, etc.
  • Team player with a servant-hearted attitude
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
  • Enjoys working behind the scenes to support others
  • All other duties as assigned
