Head Mock Trial Coach - West Linn High School

The start date for this position is start of 26-27 School Year until March 21, 2027. The Salary listed is for 25-26 School year, and is yet to be published for 26-27 SY.

A mock trial coach supports students in learning about the legal system through structured, hands‑on practice. They teach foundational skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, analysis of case materials, and understanding courtroom procedures. The coach guides students in preparing arguments, developing witness examinations, and presenting clear, persuasive statements.

Within the school environment, the coach fosters a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere where students build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. They provide constructive feedback, organize practice sessions, and help students understand competition expectations. Overall, a mock trial coach enhances students’ academic growth by combining legal education with skill development in a supportive learning setting.
