Adjunct Faculty – Information Systems Technology Instructor
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Learning and Instruction with responsibility for instruction of information systems technology courses, student retention, and assessment of student learning, and oversight of laboratory supplies and equipment. Teaching schedule may include day or evening hours.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or work experience and professional certifications which support the ASU Mid-South curriculum including networking, cybersecurity, Cisco, A+/computer repair; previous teaching experience, preferably at a community college; evidence of ongoing commitment to improve teaching and student learning; evidence of the ability to work effectively to meet the educational needs of a diverse student body; good communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Previous experience with assessment of student learning will be a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications is required, and previous use of Canvas, Blackboard or another Learning Management System is preferred.
