We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Lab Manager with strong technical expertise in electrical testing and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to ANSI, IEC, and other relevant standards, and providing leadership to a technical team. This role requires excellent communication skills for customer interaction, advanced electrical knowledge, and proven management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all high-voltage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with ANSI, IEC, and other applicable standards.
- Manage and lead the lab team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct and supervise electrical testing on products and assemblies according to industry and customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding testing procedures, results, and technical inquiries.
- Develop and maintain testing protocols, calibration processes, and quality assurance measures.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to internal teams and external clients.
- Coordinate audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance within the lab.
- Support R&D and engineering teams with technical insights and testing data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in lab operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEC, and other electrical standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and laboratory management.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and technical presentations.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and quality assurance.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
