Read ISOs and blueprints to figure out pipe layout and functionality.;
Cut pipes to the correct length using saws and hand tools.;
Lay out piping on racks or pipe stands with correct fittings for welders.;
Work with butt weld and socket weld joints.;
Grind piping to prepare it for welding.
