Newberry Tanks & Equipment is a fast paced, growing business based in West Memphis, Arkansas. We are looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join our team. A successful candidate will efficiently and effectively:

• Operate shot blast equipment to prepare steel tanks to receive paint and coatings.
• Use quality control tools and gauges to ensure product meets specifications.
• Operate forklift to move and load tank products for shipping.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspection of equipment.
• Keep work area in clean and orderly condition free of hazards.
• Request materials and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.

• Minimum of three years of successful continuous employment in a commercial or industrial setting.

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Simple reading and arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations for industrial plant & equipment.

• Moderate physical effort; requires standing for entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. throughout the day.
• Good eye and hand coordination.
• Visual acuity in order to perform tasks successfully.
• Able to climb, stoop, bend to move from forklift and perform various outside activities throughout yard.

$18 - $20 per hour
