2nd Shift Team Lead

2nd Shift Team Lead oversees daily assembly operations, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role is responsible for training team members, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining documentation and performance standards.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement.
• Preferred:
  Basic mechanical or technical troubleshooting skills.

• Work hours are from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM Monday through Wednesday and 11:00 PM to 5:30 AM Thursday, indicating overnight shift work.

• Supervise, coach, and motivate assembly team members.
• Assign daily tasks and balance workloads according to production priorities.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing employees.
• Provide performance feedback and participate in evaluations.
• Monitor assembly processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with work instructions.
• Ensure production schedules and targets are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment, assembly issues, and workflow obstacles.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering as needed.
