The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Surveillance Lead to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As Surveillance Lead, you will lead by example in conducting facility-wide surveillance camera operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property, our guests, and Delaware North team members.
Pay$22.00 – $26.00 / hour

What will you do?- Assist the Surveillance Supervisor in planning and scheduling of Associates assigned duties.
- Train new associates and ensure all policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Monitor all areas of the property, including but not limited to gaming and cage activity, food and beverage activity, and security of the facility.
- Observe and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
- Make written reports and logs on any observed violations and illegal activity in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are operational at all times.
- Keep associates and supervisors advised of daily events, and all company and departmental activities.
- Ensure that all state racing and gaming regulations and policies are followed.
- Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years’ Casino Surveillance as an agent or operator working in the Surveillance Monitor room. Prior Gaming or law enforcement experience preferred.
- In depth understanding of all Table Games.
- Proven ability to identify Advantage Play, collusion, and cheating incidents on the Gaming Tables.
- Ability to utilize multiple programs to research and investigate Table Games, Slot System, F&B transaction data, License Plate Recognition, Guest , and Surveillance System analytics. Able to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to write legibly and express thoughts on reports answering the essentials of report writing;

- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while on the job.
- Perform all duties with great INTEGRITY.
- Ability to see and recognize details on video screen.
- Ability to hear and speak to communicate on two-way radio.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors.
