QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.
3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or a similar environment.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills: motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, control circuits, and basic PLC functions.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
Working knowledge of 480V 3-phase systems, control circuits, and industrial electrical components.
Ability to work independently during weekend operations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, climbing, and reaching.
Understanding of safety practices related to electrical work.
Working ConditionsIndustrial manufacturing setting with exposure to electrical equipment, machinery, noise, and heat. Use of PPE required according to Sediver safety standards.
Position OverviewThe Electrical Maintenance Technician supports Sediver's weekend production operations by performing electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and systems. This role ensures equipment availability, electrical safety, and compliance with Sediver maintenance standards. The technician works independently during weekend shifts to diagnose issues, maintain electrical systems, and support production reliability.
Essential FunctionsPerform preventive, corrective, and predictive electrical maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues involving motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, relays, control panels, and power distribution.
Diagnose and repair failures in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems.
Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, panels, and control components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Perform testing using meters, scopes, and electrical diagnostic tools.
Follow Sediver's safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, arc flash protection, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
Document work performed in the CMMS system and communicate equipment status to supervisors.
