Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, machinery, tooling, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Your role will involve identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues in a timely manner. Routine equipment inspections and proactive addressing of potential maintenance concerns before they affect production are crucial.
You will also install, calibrate, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery, while supporting facility maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Accurate documentation of maintenance activities and completion of work orders are essential, as is maintaining detailed service records. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe, clean, and organized work environment is imperative.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, machinery, tooling, and facility systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and proactively address potential maintenance concerns.
- Install, calibrate, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Support facility maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and complete work orders.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Mechanical repair and preventive maintenance
- Welding and fabrication
- Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift operation
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and lockout/tagout procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Three or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- English/Spanish bilingual a plus

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a manufacturing environment that is non-temperature controlled, meaning it can be hot during the summer and cold in the winter. The environment can be dirty, requiring adaptability and resilience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, AR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
