As we grow, we’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Carrier Relations Representative to join our team and support our sales operations.

Position Overview

The Carrier Relations Representative plays a key support role within our logistics and brokerage team. This individual will work closely with carriers to coordinate freight moves, ensure documentation is accurate in our Transportation Management System, and provide clear communication between the carriers and internal teams. This role is essential to the smooth and timely execution of brokered loads.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for carriers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring consistent communication
  • Coordinate the execution of brokered loads and support the sales team with accurate carrier updates
  • Enter and maintain detailed load documentation in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolving issues such as delays or changes in delivery plans
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless carrier onboarding and compliance with company procedures
  • Proactively address and resolve carrier concerns while maintaining a professional and customer-service-focused approach
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
  • Critical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex transportation challenges
  • Energetic and outgoing personality; comfortable building rapport with people over the phone and via email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in logistics, business, or related field is a plus
