Senior Payroll Specialist

Salary Mid-Point: $75,000

West Mifflin PA Job Type: Permanent

• Process payroll weekly for both hourly and salary employees.
• Assist Payroll Manager with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees.
• Reconciles issues with payroll systems and information.
• Performs weekly and daily audit of incoming information for data integrity.
• Prepares payroll reports from HRIS and timekeeping systems on a regular basis.
• Answers employee questions and investigates issues in a timely manner.
• Follows standard payroll processes and guidelines; complies with various state laws and regulations.

• Five (5) plus years of experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and hospitality wage requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Process payroll for both Salary and hourly employees
• Understanding of general payroll practices and laws including benefits/deductions, garnishments, taxation, and reporting.
