Intermediate Technician's coordinate and execute work in an industrial environment which may include the performance of measurements, documentation of results, and overview of production activities after receiving appropriate training and mentorship.

Inspect and record the adequacy of complex components (very close tolerances, of various components and test assemblies, etc.) using precision measurement devices and nondestructive testing techniques.
• Support and identify discrepancies in such activities as lifting/handling, welding, receipt inspection, source inspection, component fabrication, and other related tasks through surveillance, inspection testing, and records.
• Perform tool calibrations.
• Utilize automatic computerized data processing equipment to perform tasks and record results.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;

or Journeymans Papers in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Qualification as a Naval Nuclear Propulsion Operator (or commercial nuclear equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Preferred Skills Associates degree from a technical college or Journeyman's papers.

Proficient in reading and analyzing technical drawings. Experience using coordinate measuring machines. Experience using optical measuring equipment. Willing to travel to support inspections and off-site training. Experience in nondestructive testing (NDT) at the inspector level or higher in Visual Dimensional (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Magnetic Particle (MT) testing techniques. Pay Range $57,500.00 - $88,000.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
