Per Diem Unarmed Security Officer - Pittsburgh
As a per diem officer, you will work on an as needed basis. Each week you will provide your supervisor with your availability and they will schedule you in when shift coverage is needed. Per diem officers are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per month.

Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) work in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. The PSO’s mission is to protect all people, information, and property assigned while delivering high‑end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.
Job Duties / Essential Functions- Delivering high‑end customer service
- Responding to emergencies
- Deterring and preventing crime
- Performing ingress/egress control procedures
- Investigating incidents
- Completing daily logs and incident reports
- Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
- Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co‑workers
- De‑escalating conflicts
- Detaining suspects
- Monitoring CCTV cameras
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Current and valid DL
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in security recommended
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
- Ability to work under stress / pressure
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to wear a uniform
