Air Star is a Paratransit company in West Mifflin, PA that transports the elderly and people with disabilities.
Position OverviewWe are hiring Lift Van Drivers and Sedan Drivers. This is a part‑time or full‑time position. Part‑time drivers work 4–6+ hours per shift (mornings or afternoons). Full‑time drivers work 7+ hour days (mornings or afternoons). Shift start times: 5:15 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m. for mornings; 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. for evenings.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver passengers safely and on schedule, assist passengers with mobility needs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Qualifications- Clean driving record for the last 3 years
- Pass background check (back to 18th birthday)
- 23 years of age or older
- Compassion for neighbors
- Lift drivers must pass a DOT physical
- Lift driver pay 17–20 USD per hour (experience based)
- Morning lift pay 17 USD/h, afternoon lift 19 USD/h
- Paid 1‑week training at 10 USD/h
- Full‑time drivers eligible for health benefits
Position based in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Candidates must reside or relocate to West Mifflin, PA 15122 before starting work.
