Job DescriptionCDL‑A Local Delivery Driver (4‑5 day work week, Monday‑Friday, dispatch between 2:00 am – 7:00 am)

Pay & Bonuses- $1,350 – $1,500 per week (average $70K – $80K annually)
- Sign‑on bonus $10,000 for drivers with 1+ year of CDL‑A experience
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They deliver products to local customers, ensuring timely, safe arrival and serving as the face of the company.
Responsibilities- Perform all required safety checks (pre‑ and post‑trip) and inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer per DOT regulations.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Immediately report all safety hazards and inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Count items, verify customer invoices, and complete required paperwork accurately.
- Move tractor to the loading dock and attach pre‑loaded trailer as needed.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedule; unload products and transport items to customer storage areas.
- Perform damage control checks, scan items, and contact supervisor regarding orders per company policy; verify delivery and obtain signatures; collect payment where required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailers; ensure all freight is locked and secured.
- Unload damaged goods and returns, complete necessary paperwork, and remove trash from trailers as required.
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter logs per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean; secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Valid CDL‑A.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one.
- Able to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight (approx. 10–35 pounds, up to 60–90 pounds).
$1,350 – $1,500 per week (average $70K – $80K per year).
