POSITION: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - ERI

(EMOTIONAL REGULATION IMPAIRMENT)

HIGH SCHOOL

Start Date - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide specialized learning experiences in a supportive and positive classroom climate that develops

in each student the skills, attitudes and knowledge to meet and exceed the Common Core Standard as

outlined in the IEP for the student, using approved curricula and directives of the school.

* Ongoing collaboration with administration, case manager, general education teachers, related services

staff and parents.

* Utilize data to construct and offer differentiated instruction to mee the diverse needs of student population.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Appropriate NJ State Certification (Teacher of Students with Disabilities of Teacher of the Handicapped).

2. Enthusiasm and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

3. Prior experience working with Middle & High School aged students preferred.

SALARY:
Per Board of Education/WMEA Agreement
