POSITION: REPLACEMENT SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (MD)
MAPLE ROAD SCHOOL
DECEMBER 2026 - MARCH 2027
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide specialized learning experiences in a supportive and positive
classroom climate that develops in each student the skills, attitudes
and knowledge to meet and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning
Standards as outlined in the IEP for the student, using approved
curricula and directives of the school - Ongoing collaboration with administration, case manager, general
education teachers, related services staff and parents - Utilize data to construct and offer differentiated instruction to
meet the diverse needs of student population - Experience with self-contained students, particularly MD, preferred.
- Appropriate NJ State Certification
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped - Enthusiasm and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working with elementary school-aged students preferred.
Per diem rate of $250.00
