- Language Class: English for one adult
- Location: West Monroe, Louisiana 71292
- Schedule: 2 classes per week, 90 minutes each
- Start: As soon as instructor is available
- Duration: Up to 20 hours to start
- Requirements: English speaker with 2+ years’ experience teaching adults
- Compensation: negotiable
- Curriculum: Based on student goals. If textbooks are needed, LTC will cover the cost. Teacher expected to supplement with authentic materials and activities. Focus should include basic everyday communication, improving understanding and participation in longer conversations, and developing independence in real-life situations such as shopping, appointments, healthcare interactions, and social conversations. Role-plays, listening practice, and pronunciation support are highly encouraged.
This is a freelance, independent contractor position.
