Licensed Practical Nurse; Lpn Adolescent Unit

Freedom Behavioral Health is seeking dependable and compassionate LPNs to join our Adolescent Unit, caring for patients ages 12–17 who are receiving behavioral health treatment.

This is an opportunity to use your nursing skills in a structured environment while helping adolescents navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adolescent patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and according to facility policy.
• Monitor patients and report changes in physical or behavioral condition.
• Assist with nursing assessments and patient documentation.
• Support treatment plans and communicate observations to the treatment team.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment.
• Work collaboratively with RNs, Mental Health Technicians, therapists, physicians, and other staff.
• Assist with patient needs while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
• Participate in crisis prevention, de-escalation, and behavioral interventions as trained.
• Follow all safety, regulatory, and facility policies.

• A currently licensed Louisiana LPN.
• Compassionate and patient.
• Comfortable working with adolescents.
• Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• A strong communicator and team player.
• Dependable and safety-focused.
• Behavioral-health, pediatric, adolescent, or psychiatric experience is a plus.
