We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS)! A Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store, lead, coach, develop staff, recruit and retain top talent, and manage financial goals and customer satisfaction. The role requires analyzing financial statements, protecting assets, and promoting the business through internal and external marketing tools.
This position offers a competitive wage plus a performance‑based bonus and reports to the District Manager.
- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures safeguard assets.
- Implement asset protection via inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer processes for inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and enterprise reporting.
- Evaluate store financials and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Meet or exceed First Cash operating standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain loan integrity.
- Complete assigned self‑development tasks and training.
- Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and become certified.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Flexible to work multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Store Managers work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate with POS and office machine proficiency.
- Multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical abilities.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Independent, minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. More details will be provided during the interview process.
Pay Rates & Additional NotesPay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements. First Cash 401(k) is available to employees 21 years of age or older. Earned Wage Access is a service provided by Net Spend; signup is required and subject to restrictions and fees.
