You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. You will need to have excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. You will also need to be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will also need great communication and customer service skills.

This opportunity is based on a Maintenance Mechanic career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or industrial maintenance education is preferred. Certification (ASE) or apprenticeship is a plus.

Experience Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, and related components. Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and maintenance documentation. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to preventative maintenance, workplace safety, quality workmanship, and dependable attendance. 2+ years of auto mechanic experience troubleshooting and fixing issues on all types of engines, alignments, brakes, and diagnostics.

Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in varied positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift tools, replacement parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate tools, perform repairs, and handle mechanical components. Ability to work safely around moving machinery, elevated surfaces, confined areas, and industrial equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
