Summary:

CED West Monroe is committed to optimizing its inventory and asset management processes. We are seeking a detail oriented and driven individual to join the team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business including:  

+  Logistics

+  Material Management

+  Shipping and Receiving

+  Vendor Managed Inventory

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+  High school diploma or equivalent

+  Proven experience in inventory and asset management

+  Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

+  Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues

+  Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

+  Additional education in inventory management or a related field

+  Bachelor's degree

ADDITIONAL

+  Effective communication and collaboration abilities

+  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

+  Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.  

+  May require extended periods of standing.

+  Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

+  This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.

+  Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets

Essential Job Functions:

+  Logistics Support:
Delivery of material to customers

+  Material Management:
Stocking shelves, organizing warehouse, pulling materials for orders, staging materials for deliveries, cycle counts  

+  Shipping and Receiving:
Unloading and unloading LTL, Hotshot, UPS, and Fedex

+  Vendor Managed Inventory:
Oversee and Assist in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand
