Operations and Implementation Specialist

CED West Monroe is committed to optimizing its inventory and asset management processes. We are seeking a detail oriented and driven individual to join the team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business including logistics, material management, shipping and receiving, and vendor managed inventory.

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in inventory and asset management
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional education in inventory management or a related field
• Bachelor's degree

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.
• May require extended periods of standing.
• Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
• This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.
• Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets

Essential Job Functions:

• Logistics Support:
  Delivery of material to customers
• Material Management:
  Stocking shelves, organizing warehouse, pulling materials for orders, staging materials for deliveries, cycle counts
• Shipping and Receiving:
  Unloading and unloading LTL, Hotshot, UPS, and Fedex
• Vendor Managed Inventory:
  Oversee and Assist in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand
