What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Provide strategic guidance on the evaluation framework at established milestones
- Ensure quality assurance across key deliverables
- Synthesize findings, conclusions, and recommendations for diverse audiences
- Offer technical support to the evaluation team as needed
- Engage in high-level sense making to inform future actions
- Master’s degree in social sciences, international relations, international affairs, or a related field
- Over 20 years of demonstrated thought leadership in humanitarian evaluation and policy
- Proven ability to provide high-quality technical guidance remotely
- Strong knowledge of UN systems, programming, and UNICEF emergency responses
- Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills; fluency in English required
- Published work on humanitarian access and humanitarian principles
- Fluency in additional UN languages considered an asset
- In-depth understanding of emergency response mechanisms, including coordination across various actors
