Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher include:

  • Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
  • Supporting each child's social and emotional development

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Empathy and compassion for children
  • Dependable, adaptable, team-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., including infants into and out of cribs
