# Pastor/Director of Youth and Families West Orange, NJThe Pastor/Director of Youth and Families role at Covenant Fellowship Church in West Orange, NJ is an exempt position that may be structured as either part-time (10–20 hours per week) or full-time (40+ hours per week, including two days per week in the church office). In the part-time capacity, the position focuses exclusively on Youth Ministry, including leading Covenant Youth Juniors worship services, mentoring and counseling students, organizing fellowships, retreats, and mission trips, and supporting Friday Night Fellowship.

In the full-time role, additional responsibilities include overseeing Children’s Ministry (leadership development, volunteer recruitment, and special events), helping lead College/Young Adult Ministry (community groups, Bible studies, pastoral care), preaching and leading worship as requested, participating in church-wide programming and prayer gatherings, and involvement in Presbytery committees.

Part-time candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in or have completed theological training at an accredited seminary with commitment to Reformed teaching. Full-time candidates must have both college and seminary degrees, with experience preferred, and be ordained or ordainable in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).3/31/2026
