Overview

Position Summary We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Bilingual Medical Records Agent responsible for managing and maintaining patients' medical records in accordance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines. This role requires proficiency in computer applications, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Computer knowledge and computer applications
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English (Preferred bilingual).
  • Attention to details and function competently in stressful situations.
  • Ability to research information; analyze data; use logical judgment to formulate sound conclusions; and independently problem-solve.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team (i.e., physicians, administrative staff, etc.) and co-workers.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interaction and communication (oral and writing) skills.
  • Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • File all patients' medical records and information to the appropriate categories.
  • Ensure that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete.
  • Transfer data into the facility's main system database by creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically.
  • Complete clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing patient records, and preparing invoices.
  • Filing the paperwork and reports of patients quickly and accurately.
  • Safeguard patient records and ensure that everyone complies with HIPAA standards and keep all medical records confidential and protected.
