Salary: Up to $95,000 Annually

Join Our Team as a Registered Dietitian

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our skilled nursing facility in West Orange, New Jersey. In this vital role, you will oversee and manage the nutritional care of our residents, ensuring individualized dietary support that promotes optimal health, recovery, and overall well‑being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans; adjust interventions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes
  • Support food service operations to ensure dietary needs and quality standards are consistently met
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, dietary supplements, and food service management
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred
  • Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
