Job Title: Application Developer III
Location: SBC Corporation
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or programming preferred, or relevant work experience
- Certifications: Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Development (CAD) required;
Service Now CIS HAM, SAM, ITSM or ITOM required; ITIL v4 (preferred)
- 5+ years experience developing and operating Service Now, 2+ years in a Service Now senior developer role
- Up-to-date knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes and Service Now applications like ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, and CMDB
- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and backend development; working knowledge of database systems
- Ability and willingness to work independently and efficiently
- Desire to collaborate to ensure effective execution of project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quick error identification and resolution
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability
- Excellent time‑management skills
- Design, develop, install, and troubleshoot Service Now applications
- Own the end‑to‑end IT Asset Management architecture within Service Now, focusing on HAM Pro (procurement orchestration, receiving, inventory, lifecycle management, transfers, and disposals) and SAM (entitlement management, license compliance, software normalization, reconciliation, audit defense)
- Develop and maintain integrations; design and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with endpoint management platforms and vendor management tools
- Lead complex Service Now development using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub/Workflow Data Fabric
- Continuously learn about current Service Now functionality and future releases
- Assist in training, documentation, and overall support; identify bugs/defects and provide resolutions
