Job OverviewThe Application Analyst II is primarily responsible for supporting the design and build of the designated application. They oversee the overall build of workflows, system configurations, change documentation, and operational support. The analyst works independently with minimal supervision, handles installation, upgrades, and configuration of the application, coordinates customer support activities, creates and executes test scripts, and documents outcomes. They address customer or build issues, recommend mitigation plans, and provide on‑call support through go‑live and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications- Education:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience. - Experience:
Preferred 3+ years of prior system build experience; demonstrated ability to support the application; previous experience with the specified customer base; ability to work with moderate supervision. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Minimum certification in the specified application;
Epic Cadence & Prelude certified required (Referrals and/or MyChart preferred).

- Executing Application Design and Build: design and build the related application, optimize design with Operations, utilize best‑practice resources, review foundations and operational requests, participate in unit and integrated testing, build data fields, screens, templates, and customer‑defined functionality, collaborate with training, follow build standards, maintain environment synchronization, act as a Level 1 analyst resource, and assist with Change Readiness demos and documentation.
- Application Support: provide go‑live support, on‑call support post go‑live, represent the application in Integrated Area Work groups, maintain knowledge of the subject matter, work with customers and informatics on enhancement requests, support continuous documentation, share knowledge with analysts, validate work from newer analysts.
- Documentation and Communication: maintain ticket communication, contact customers on resolution, log decisions and risks, support governance and business case development, maintain version control, supervise basic issues, escalations, and present oral and written communication to the project team.
- Project Management: recommend process improvements, assist in future state material development, follow issue identification and resolution, adhere to change control processes, collaborate across teams and operational staff, develop test scripts for new systems, and comply with version upgrades and system modifications.
